Brett Paull and Sean Johns

Brett Paull,
Commercial Lending Manager |
Brett Paull has nearly 30 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking with large Australian financial institutions.
He has worked with the Rural Bank of New South Wales, the State Bank of New South Wales, Colonial State Bank and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Brett gathered extensive experience as a Relationship Executive, managing the needs of customers with commercial borrowings ranging from $500,000 up to $2 million.
He has assisted many companies of all sizes and from a wide range of industries to obtain the finance they needed for their businesses.
Since joining KPR Equity Finance (now trading as Resurg Capital Finance) in 2004, Brett has undertaken in-depth research on the lending policies of all the major financial institutions. He has a thorough understanding of what it takes to make a successful finance application over a wide range of products and institutions.

Sean Johns,
Director |
Sean Johns has more than 15 years of experience in the retail, banking, small-medium enterprise and franchise sectors.
He has worked at St George Bank, rising to the position of Senior Sales Manager in the funds management division. He also worked in the bank’s internal consulting unit, which focused on ensuring good business practices in the various bank divisions, often using total quality management principles. He helped to implement ISO 9002 within the bank.
Sean worked with a retail travel franchise, starting as New South Wales State Manager and responsible for 80 franchisees. He rose to the position of Director of Franchise, responsible for 380 franchisees nationwide with revenue of more than $650 million a year.
Sean Johns, with partner Mark Jenkins, founded the Resurg Group in 2001. The Resurg Group works with member-based groups, stock/service franchises and multi-location businesses to improve their profit by tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars a year using a methodology based on benchmarking, education and performance groups.
Sean’s unique combination of business and finance skills and knowledge are a considerable advantage to Resurg Capital Finance clients in assessing their business strengths and potential, building an attractive business case, and finding the right financial solution.

Sharon Fisher,
Finance Consultant |
Sharon Fisher has joined Resurg Capital Finance after working with the Resurg Group since October 2002. She has substantial experience in business finance, operations, audit and administration and has worked in industries including bloodstock, finance and travel. She is studying for a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Technology, Sydney.
